Hanson <br />As you know, the City has two employees retiring at the end of <br />1996, Bev Jespersen and Jack Fitzgerald. In order to recognize <br />them for their service to the City, staff would like to organize <br />a retirement celebration for these individuals. <br />Tentative plans are to hold the celebration on Friday, January 3, <br />1997 at the facility to be formerly known as the old fire <br />station. We would desire to serve alcoholic beverages at this <br />event. Therefore, staff is requesting approval of the City <br />Council to hold the event at the old fire station (see attached <br />policy). <br />Page 60 <br />
