The project site is in the SW 1/4 of <br />Sec. 8, T. 29N., R. 22W., Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />It is our understanding that portions of this site have been <br />filled under previous permits; and that the proposed work area at <br />this time would NOT encroach into any waterbody or wetland area. <br />Because there would be no discharge of dredged or fill material, <br />or excavation, within any water of the United States, including <br />wetlands, a Department of the Army permit is not required to do <br />this work. <br />This letter is valid only for the project referenced above. <br />If any change in design, location, or purpose is contemplated, <br />contact this office to avoid doing work that may be in violation <br />of Federal law. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONFIRMATION LETTER DOES <br />NOT ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR STATE, LOCAL, OR OTHER AUTHORIZATIONS. <br />Also, we recommend that all potential lot owners be advised to <br />contact the appropriate agencies prior to conducting work within <br />waters and wetlands. <br />If you have any questions, contact Tim Fell in our St. Paul <br />office at (612) 290 -5360.
