L. <br />July 24, 1996 <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, MN 55117 <br />Dear Mr. Hanson: <br />Please consider this letter of application for the position on the Little Canada <br />Parks and Recreation Commission that was recently announced. <br />My family and I have been residents of Little Canada since November, 1991. <br />Our son Andy who is 12 years has been an active participant in Little Canada <br />recreation programs including baseball, basketball, and soccer. Our entire <br />family has been involved in a variety of recreational activities over the years <br />and I would like to be more involved in my 'new' community. <br />My family and I are strong believers in life -long learning and want to support <br />our community efforts to continue to provide opportunities for our citizens. <br />I have learned a great deal from the opportunities that I have experienced as a <br />parent, coach, and participant and would like to continue working with <br />people in parks and recreation and related activities. <br />Attached you will find a brief outline of some of my activities which help to <br />qualify me for this position. <br />Thank you for your consideration. <br />Sincerely, <br />as F.
