Side wall and <br />curved panels can be easily attached with <br />swivel clips and screws. <br />DETAIL OF OFFSET <br />DOUBLE SLICE TRACK <br />INSTALLED CN <br />TYPICALG AZIN BAR <br />SOLAR COVER SPECIFICATIONS <br />GENERAL: VIMCO SOLAR COVER panels to be furnished shall <br />be constructed of PVC coated fiberglass and/or polyester yams <br />spedally woven into a shading fabric which is splined into a <br />four -sided aluminum frame. The screened panels maybe attached <br />to the opening or enclosure to be covered either by means of an <br />offset double slide track or by clips and screws. All attaching <br />hardware and installation instructions shall be furnished. <br />SCREENING: Shall be a PVC jacketed woven yam t0 be <br />specified that will provide a weatherable fabric balanced to reduce <br />solar heat and glare yet allow vision out. <br />SCREEN PANEL FRAMING: A. STANDARD FRAME shall be <br />a 7/16" x 3/4" section roll - formed from 024 gauge 3105H16 <br />aluminum alloy. recommended for smaller panels up to 48" wide <br />by 80" high. <br />B. HEAVY DUTY FRAME shall be a 7/16•' x 1" .050 gauge section <br />of 606315 extruded aluminum alloy for use in larger panels up <br />W 72" wide by 120•• high. <br />SPLINE: Shall be extruded PVC specialty shaped and serrated <br />to effect extra holding power on the screening. <br />ROOF SLIDE TRACK: A. STANDARD TRACK snail 663.040 <br />gauge 606375 extruded aluminum alloy specially aesigned to <br />accept screen panels of up to 48" wide, and create a minimum <br />clearance of more than one inch between the shading fabrc and <br />rooftop or sloped glazed surfaces. <br />8. HEAVY DUTY TRACK shall be of 063 gauge 606315 extruded <br />aluminum alloy designed to accept screen panels of up to 72" <br />widths for larger bays of overhead glazing, <br />HARDWARE: Attaching swivel clips and screws will be <br />furnished to attach all vemcal side wall and rooftop screen cants <br />not installed in track.
