The purpose
of our organization is to educate park residents about their rights and responsibilities and to work
together to improve the quality of life in these unique neighborhoods.
APAC is run by a Board of Directors made of current and former park residents. APAC
Executive Director Glenn Shoemaker will attend the meeting.
If given consent to use City Hall, we would invite homeowners residing at Northstar Estates park,
where APAC has a local chapter. The chapter formed late last year in response to management
problems in the park. The October 17th meeting would focus on the sinking and shifting of many
homes in North Star, resulting in damage to some units, and the need for frequent blocking and
leveling. A number of residents have voiced concern about the issue, and we intend to discuss the
problem and possible solutions.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
‘O 1 1
Glenn Shoemaker
Executive Director
An Organization of Manufactured Home Residents
Page 23
