Accessory Storage Space, Section 903.020.D of the Zoning Ordinance states that the
total floor area of a garage and other accessory buildings for a single family detached
dwelling shall not exceed 1,000 square feet, except by conditional use permit. According
to the applicant, the combined total of the proposed structure to be relocated and the
residence's existing "tuck under" garage will not exceed 1,000 square feet.
RECOMMENDATION
Based on the preceding review, our office recommends approval of the requested
conditional use permit subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions:
1. The proposed relocated structure is shifted so as to comply with applicable 10 foot
side yard and all other setback requirements.
2. The relocated structure match the site's principal building in color.
3. The applicant post a performance security in an amount determined appropriate by
the City Building Official.
4. The City Engineer determine that placement of the relocated structure upon the
subject site will not adversely affect site or area drainage.
A determination is made by the City Building Official that the relocated structure
meets applicable Building Code requirements.
pc: Kathy Glanzer
Greg Schmidt
Scott Tangen
Ted Huot
4
Page 61
