Minnesota 55(09
May 24, 1985
Mr. Joseph G. Chlebeck
City Clerk
City of Little Canada
Little Canada, MN 55117
Dear Mr. Chlebeck:
SUBJECT: S.P. 6280 -233
I -35E
BR. NO. 6508
LITTLE CANADA ROAD OVER I -35E
SIDEWALKS
Telephone 779 -1178
In response to your letter (4- 18 -85) concerning sidewalks on the south
side of Little Canada Road: the project will include sidewalk between
the ramps constructed with State and Federal funds, and sidewalks from
the ramps to the ends of the project, as requested by the City, constructed
with local funds. It would not, however, be practical, at this time, to
extend the limits of the project to include additional sidewalk. The plans
are near completion and because this is a federally funded project, the
additional documentation would cause delay. Any additional work of this
type would be at city expense. There would, therefore, probably be no
advantage to doing the sidewalk work with the bridge project.
SinUre1y,
n Kermit K.
