14 May 1985
TO: City of Little Canada, MN
FROM: Leopolds Klidzejs (3246 Twin Lake Road, Little Canada, MN 55110)
RE: Property division
I, Leopolds Klidzejs, contracted Milner W. Carley and Associates to divide
our property into lots "A, B, and C" during 1977.
The existing road easement was 16.5 feet on each side of the property line.
Milner W. Carley and Associates planned a 25 foot easement on each side of
the property line as shown on the plan. The City of Little Canada asked me
to donate an easement 8.5 feet wide; this amounts to 1,418.375 square feet.
Unwillingly, and on my son's advice (to speed up receipt of a building permit),
I donated an 8.5 foot width to the existing 16.5 foot easement.
That 8.5 foot width was not added to an existing 16.5 foot easement; rather
it was added to the already planned 25 foot easement. I was told in the
Ramsey County Courthouse that the City of Little Canada can correct the
error which I have just mentioned.
I petition the City of Little Canada to correct the error, to vacate the 8.5
foot width easement, and to turn it back over to us so there will only be a
25 foot road easement on our side of the property line on Twin Lake Road.
Respectfully, a& l a4. /C f&.
15
