This proposal involves the possible utilization
of Soo Line right -of -way in order to achieve a reasonable setback from
existing buildings.
The City is pursuing this matter in order to create a second access into
this relatively isolated industrial area of the City. At present only one
access, Woodlyn Avenue, into this area is developed. This access crosses
the Soo Line right -of -way. From a public safety perspective, a second means
of entry and exit is seen as necessary prior to the City allowing additional
development.
Once you have had an opportunity to review this general information, I would
appreciate your contacting me for a possible meeting to review this natter
further. At such tine, I would also like to involve the City Engineer as
part of the discussion.
Sincerely yours,
NORTHWEST ASSOCIATED CONSULTANTS, INC.
David R.
