PLANNING COMMISSIONC City of Little Canada The Planning Committee, City of Little Canada, met at the City Hall, 515 Little Canada Road, May 1, 1974. The meeting was called to order at 8 P. M. Present: Jack Radford, Virginia Fisher, Peter Costa, Earl Rossex, Gene DeLonais, Dennis Ryan and Margret Mitchell. Absent: Ralph Na-dini, Ro WHITE OARS JAMES NADEAU 2462 Savage Lane n Blomquist, Dick Boss, 111 and Eugene Fasciana. Mr. Frank Thul, 165 E. Viking Drive was present 50 explain the future expansion of White Oaks and what it would do to his property. White Oaks is trying to get the State to vacate the right of way so they can expand. The property owners want to protect the neighborhood. They would not object to 2 or 3 nice homes but also want the Plan- ning Com. to take a good look at the water level before White Oaks can get approval. The land was zoned R3 about 1 month after Mr Thul moved in, June 1971 and the rezoning was approved in July 1971. Mr. Thul's house is about 10 feet from White Oak property line and is about 30 feet lower than high land and will have water problems. Mr. Nadeau would like tb have land on Centerville Road, about 174 acres, rezoned to light industrial. The Kruse Investors, with Doane Realty, are interested in the land and the neighbors have no objections. Virginia Fisher, Mr. DeLonais seconding, made a motion that the Planning Commission recommend to the Council that the Nadeau property on Centerville Road be rezoned light industry. Tabled for further discussion with a special meeting to be held on May 8th at 7 P. M. at the City Hall, as the Planning commission wishes to question further the realtor, /7ruse Investors and Mr. Nadeau who will be at the meeting, in regard to the fuse of the land. like to have a joint meeting with the Council in The Planning Committee would June to discuss city problems. 12
