PLANNING COMMISSION <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE- CANADA <br />440 LITTLE CA•ADA ROAD <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission - Village of Little Canada <br />May 8, 1974 <br />0 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the Village of <br />Little Canada was held on the 8th day of May, 1974. at the City <br />Hall, 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The folowing members were present: Messor: Jack Radford, Virginia <br />Fisher, Peter Costa, Earl Rossez, Eugene Fasciana, Dennis Ryan and <br />Margret Mitchell. <br />The following members were absent: Ralph Nardini, Ron Blomquist, <br />Dick Boss III7 and Gene DeLonais: <br />James Nadeau Mr. Bill Henning spoke in behalf of the purchaser. <br />The land has to be rezoned light industry <br />before purchase and would also like to buy other <br />property in the neighborhood. <br />Mr. Doane <br />Doane Realty <br />Nadeau Property <br />Centerville Rd. <br />The buyer has no idea of what he wants to develop <br />the property into, but has suggested warehouses <br />and an indoor tennis court. <br />Mr. Doane suggested that it could be rezoned <br />with a variance and when the plans were complete, <br />come back to the Planning Commission and Council. <br />The entire area is about 50 acres and when plans <br />are drawn must be within the State and City of <br />Little Canada codes and allow no building permits <br />if not acceptable. The area is ideally located <br />for light industry. <br />The Planning Commission would like to have a <br />comprhensive plan for the entire area and not <br />just for the 171/2 acres. <br />The Planning Commission recommends to the <br />Council that the Nadeau property on Centerville <br />Road be zoned light industry. <br />The motion made at the last meeting and was <br />voted on. <br />Vote: 5 ayes <br />2 nayes <br />Carried. <br />14 <br />
