Meeting <br />City Council <br />5 -8 -74 <br />Cont. <br />Agenda <br />Amended <br />(255 -256) <br />Roger <br />Barlau <br />(257 -263) <br />Jim <br />Nadeau <br />(264 -283) <br />Mr. Veilleux, <br />Upon the motion of Mr. Hanson and seconded by <br />The agenda was amended, inorder to <br />hear persons from the floor who were not on <br />the agenda. <br />All voted infavor of the motion. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Roger Barlau, <br />Council, concerning a City Lot <br />the Council, that the city lot <br />lot and he requested the City <br />dust down. <br />of 304 Demont, addressed the <br />on Demont. Some <br />of the remarks made during the disuccion were, that at one time <br />the Recreation department considered useing the lot for a, <br />" Kiddy Park ", but no action was ever taken on the proposal. <br />It was also mentioned if the lot is not to be used for recreation <br />it should be sold. <br />Mr. Be Bace stated if the recreation Dept. does not <br />do anything with the lot, he would have the Maintenance Dept. do <br />something. <br />Mr. Jim Nadeau addressed the Council requesting <br />that the Nadeau Estate be rezoned from R -1 ( Single Family Residentia: <br />to I -1 ( Light Industrial) <br />The Planning Commission held a special meeting on <br />May 8th, 1974 at 7:00 o'clock PM. to consider the request. Mrs. <br />Mitchell approached the Council and read the minutes of the special <br />meeting. At the Planning Commission meeting of May 8th, the Commis- <br />sion adopted two motions. one motion to rezone the Nadeau Estate to <br />I -1 and another motion to rezone the area between Centerville Rd <br />and De Sota ;. County Rd. " D " and the North Line of parcel <br />53 -0050- 030 -51. <br />Mr. Dave Frattalone also mentioned to the Council <br />that he would be infavor of the rezoning and he was also of the <br />opinion the rest of the land owners would be infavor of the <br />rezoning, however he also, stated he could not speak for the <br />other property owners. <br />page 12 6 <br />
