ORDINANCE NO. <br />250 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 702.020 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RELATING TO ENTERTAINMENT LICENSES <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 702.020 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />702.020. TERMS. For the purpose of this Chapter, every place <br />used, maintained,advertised or held out to be a place where intoxi- <br />cating or non - intoxicating liquor is sold for consumption on or <br />off such premises, and in addition to such sale of intoxicating or <br />non - intoxicating liquor also provides dancing, singing, or vaude- <br />ville performances or entertainment for its guests, or provides <br />for them the privilege of dancing, shall be deemed a tavern. The <br />words "non- intoxicating liquor" as used in this Chapter shall mean <br />any malt liquor containing not less than one -half of one percent <br />(1/2 of 1%) alcohol by volume nor more than 3.2 percent alcohol <br />by weight and is a fermented malt beverage for the purposes of <br />Minnesota Statutes 1965, Sections 340.44 to 340.56. <br />Section 2. <br />This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after its passage and publication. <br />Passed by the Council of the <br />City of Little Canada this <br />day of , 1985. <br />ATTEST: <br />Joseph G.
