KEY is a designed compacted fill placed in a trench <br />excavated in earth material beneath the toe of a proposed <br />fill slope. <br />SITE is any lot or parcel of land or contiguous combination <br />thereof, under the same ownership, where grading is <br />performed or permitted. <br />SLOPE is an inclined ground surface the inclination of <br />which is expressed as a ratio of horizontal distance to <br />vertical distance. <br />SOIL is naturally occurring superficial deposits overlying <br />bed rock. <br />SOILS ENGINEER shall mean a civil engineer experienced and <br />knowledgeable in the practice of soils engineering. <br />TERRACE is a relatively level step constructed in the face <br />of a graded slope surface for drainage and maintenance <br />purposes. <br />1501.030. PERMIT APPLICATION. Any person, firm, or <br />corporation requiring a permit shall provide the following <br />information on the application form: <br />1. Name and address of applicant. <br />2. Name and address of land owner. <br />3. Address and legal description of land involved. <br />4. Purpose of filling or excavating. <br />5. A description of type and amount of fill or <br />excavating to be done on land involved. <br />6. A site plan showing present and final topography <br />and including boundary lines, water courses, <br />wetlands, natural drainage, and other significant <br />features deemed to be necessary by the authority <br />having jurisdiction. <br />7. Location of any buildings or structures on the <br />property where work is to be performed and on <br />surrounding land that may be affected by the <br />proposed work. <br />8. Owner or developer shall be responsible for all <br />required data and the city engineer shall check <br />same for approval. <br />1€ <br />
