Community (enter <br />A building or group of buildings owned and operated by the <br />City, School District or church for education, recreational <br />and multiple human service uses for the intended use of the <br />City and its surrounding communities. <br />At least 50% of the facility must be used for the in -house <br />programs of the City, School District Community Education, <br />or church parish, and the operating costs may be defrayed <br />by the rental of the remainder of the facility to other <br />non - profit organizations not to exceed 10% of the gross floor area <br />of the facility for any one leasee. <br />A community center would not include governmental uses which <br />are not educational, recreational or human service oriented <br />by nature, and would not include any use which would be deemed <br />by the city council a detriment to the health, safety and general <br />welfare of the city and its surrounding communities. <br />Neighborhood Center <br />A Neighborhood Center would be similar in structure and scope to a <br />Community Center, but would be smaller in size and ,would be for the <br />intended use of its neighborhood and its surrounding neighborhoods. <br />18 <br />
