Approval <br />Of The <br />Minutes <br />McDonalds <br />MINUTES OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />June 13, 1985 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was <br />held on the 13th day of June, 1985 in the Council Chambers of the <br />City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and <br />the following members were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: <br />Mr. Peter Costa <br />Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mrs. Karolyn Kingsbury <br />Mr. Roy French <br />Mr. Thomas Perlinger <br />Mrs. Sharon Timmons <br />Mr. Bill Davison <br />Mr. Thomas Ducharme <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Planner, Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Recording Secretary, Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the May Planning <br />Commission, Mr. Costa indicated that the minutes were approved <br />as read. <br />Mr. Tim Chapman and Ms. Kay Kassinger, representing McDonalds, appeared <br />before the Commission. Kassinger requested approval for a curb cut <br />on Minnesota Avenue to service McDonalds drive - through lane. Kassinger <br />commented that she felt that the curb cut would improve the traffic <br />flow on the site and pointed out that there is now a traffic signal <br />at Rice and Minnesota. <br />Mrs. Timmons asked about the pull -off spots for special orders. Kassinger <br />replied that cars using these spots would hack into the traffic lane. <br />Kassinger felt that there was adequate room to handle this. <br />Mrs. Timmons recommended that approval be granted for the additional curb <br />cut requested by McDonalds. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. French. <br />Motion carried 6 - 0. <br />Kassinger requested approval of an additional pylon sign on the McDonalds <br />property. The sign is planned for the back corner of the parking lot so <br />it would be visible from Highway 36. <br />'a, e -1- <br />
