MINUTES
Planning Commission
June 12, 1985
Thunder Bay
Addition
(cont.)
Other
Business
contained in the plat came about as of discussion at the last Council
meeting of the Sofie /Peterson plat. The Council requested that
Frattalone extend his road.
Mrs. Timmons commented that the City Council is requesting that the
Commission look at this plat so that a public hearing can be held on
June 26 and Mr. Frattalone is not delayed another month.
Mr. DeLonais recommended that the revised Thunder Bay Addition plat
be approved as presented.
Motion seconded by Mr. French.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
Mr. French expressed concern that Metro Sewer did not tunnel under
Spoon Lake when installing their sewer line as originally proposed,
but dug up the bottom of the lake and then installed the pipe. French
was concerned that Metro Sewer would cause a hole in the bottom of
the lake. French also pointed out that there is now only one spot
in the channel to get through with a boat.
Mr. Costa commented that he would assume that Metro's engineers have
studied this and that the DNR has been involved.
French also pointed out that the County has not finished the bike
path on the west side of Edgerton. French stated that the people
on the west side cannot cut their ditches because the area was never
raked out and leveled as the east side of the street was.
Mrs. Kingsbury pointed out that Tom's Autos has cars for sale out in
front of the premises. Kingsbury stated that there are about 4 cars
in front with prices on them and questioned that the City allowed this.
Mr. DeLonais asked the status of the used car sales matter. The
Planner replied that this has been tabled until the next Council
meeting.
Adjourn Mr. DeLonais recommended that the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by Mr. Perlinger.
Motion carried 6 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:02 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary Page -3-
