Office of:
JOSEPH G. CHLEBECK, Clerk
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minn. 55117
484 -2177
CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
MEMO
MAYOR
Michael Fahey
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Bill Blesener
Rick Conove
Mugs Nardini
RgX21NZJ
TO: Joe Chlebeck SEP G6 1985
FROM: Bud Nagovsky CITY OF
LITTLE CANADA
DATE: September 27, 1985
RE: Zoning Amendment for Building Construction 903.020
I have read the Planner's recommendations for eliminating pole
buildings and metal buildings from the business and residential
districts. I think the following changes and deletions should be
made:
1. No pole type or engineered steel buildings with metal
exteriors over 120 square feet shall be allowed. Reason:
eliminating metal exterior wall covering is what was
intended.
2. Delete in its entirety.
Reason: The building code covers types and installation of
exterior sidings. It would be virtually impossible to name
every type of accepted exterior finish.
3. Delete in its entirety.
Reason: The ordinance should not concern itself with items
covered by the building code.
4. Delete in its entirety.
Reason: What is compatible? Everyone has a different idea
of what looks good.
5. Delete in its entirety.
Reason: This may not always be in the best interest of the
City or developers.
6. Okay as is.
kg
2 K.
