PROFESSIONALS, INC. <br />EXCEPTIONAL TEMPORARY HELP <br />11 East Little Canada Road • St. Paul, Minnesota 55117 • Phone: 483 -4354 <br />October 25, 1985 <br />Dear Fellow Chamber Member: <br />Your Little Canada /Vadnais Heights Division of the Suburban Area Chamber <br />of Commerce is initiating a BUSINESS -TO- NEWCOMER Packet which is designed <br />to welcome newcomers to our community. When opened, this packet will be <br />18" x 12" and will consists of two pockets. <br />ONE POCKET will contain information of a community nature. Such information <br />as whom to contact at city hall and for what, schedules of council meetings; <br />information on schools, churches, community organizations, etc. <br />THE OTHER POCKET IS FOR CHAMBER MEMBERS ONLY to place information relative <br />to their business. You might want to include a coupon -off, an advertising <br />brochure, a take out menu - -- it's up to you. There is no charge. Just give <br />us the material. We ask that it be no larger than an 8' /: x 11 size on one <br />sheet of paper. <br />WE WILL BE DISTRIBUTING 1,200 PACKETS INITIALLY. They will be placed at the <br />respective city halls of Vadnais Heights and Little Canada; all rental complexes <br />within the two communities and real estate offices. Please be prepared to give <br />us 1,200 pieces of your promotional material if you wish to be included. <br />TO HELP US DEFRAY THE COST of the packet, we are asking members who wish to <br />be line listed (see sample on attached order) for $50.00 Only the incorporated <br />name of your business is to be used. It's not a space for an advertising <br />message. HOWEVER, should you wish to advertise, we are selling ad space on <br />this inside of the covers. A 3'/z" x 4" ad costs $100.00 and a 3'/=" x 8" ad is <br />$150.00. You will receive line listing on the front at no'charge when purchasing <br />an inside ad. These inside ads are limited as to how many we can accept, so <br />it will be on a first come, first serve basis. <br />Attached is an order form. Please return it no later than NOVEMBER 5TH as <br />we are anxious to go to print. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate <br />to call pn me.
