MINUTES <br />City Council <br />July 24, 1985 <br />Lametti <br />(Cont.) <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -7 -372 - DIRECTING THE CITY <br />CLERK TO SEND A LETTER TO LAMETTI CONSTRUCTION <br />REQUIRING DAILY REPORTS FROM THEM TO THE CITY'S <br />BUILDING INSPECTOR AS TO THEIR LOCATION ON COUNTY ROAD B -2 <br />FOR PURPOSES OF POLICE AND FIRE PROTECTION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Nardini, Fahey, Collova, Blesener, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 377. <br />Canadian Fahey commented that he was sure that the Council did discuss police <br />Days protection in reflation to the Canadian Days budget in the past. <br />Police However, the Sheriff's Department will be providing extra police <br />Protection during Canadian Days this year and Fahey stated that he is proposing <br />(Cont.) an extra - ordinary budget item. <br />Mrs. Scalze stated that she would not vote on the matter until the <br />minutes are researched. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85 -7 -373 - APPROVING THE <br />EXPENDITURE OF $500 TO THE POLICE AUXILIARY <br />AS PARTIAL COMPENSATION FOR POLICE PROTECTION <br />DURING THE CANADIAN DAYS CELEBRATION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Nardini, Collova, Blesener. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Mrs. Scalze abstained. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 12, Page 378. <br />Over -Head Mr. Collova reported that the Building Inspector has been requested to <br />Fuel Tanks send letters to those businesses in the City with over -head fuel <br />tanks requesting that they be taken down. <br />Agenda <br />Item No. 15 <br />Public Works Mr. Blesener reported that lightning burnt out some automatic controls <br />Report in the booster station this weekend. The cost to repair the controls <br />was $800.
