PARK COMMISSION CITY OF LITTLE CANADA 515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD LITTLE CANADA, MN 55117 September 19, 1985 The regular meeting of the Park Commission of the City of Little Canada was held on the 19th of September, 1985. The following members were present: Elaine Zoch, Bill Sanders, Dan Drake, Jim Morelan, and Jack Fitzgerald. Bill Quirin came in late. Bill Sanders chaired the meeting. Agenda Item 1. The Budget approval was discussed. (See attached Agenda) 2. Jerry Fisher appeared before the Park Commission regarding Vacating of Lake St. between Ruth and Stark. A motion was made by Jim Morelan and seconded by Jack Fitzgerald. We inform the City Councidl that we are not interested in Lake Street between Ruth and Stark for Park Property. Passed all 3. The property on the corner of Ruth and Demont was discussed. After some discussion it was decided to table this matter until October when we could discuss it with Bev Scalze. 4. We did not get the Gervais Mill Grant. We decided to go ahead with the project without the grant. 5. It was decided to run the water service just on one side of the road, the east side. 6. Mostad - Johnson preoperty - no word on. 7. None 8. Bill Quirin mentioned his concern about dirt bikes etc. in park. Jim Morelan mentioned that there are some signs in the park and that he would talk to the school about putting a sign on their property and most of the dirt bikes enter the park through school property. The speed bumps in the park were also discussed. They are warn down. A motion was made by Jack Fitzgerald and seconded by Elaine Zoch, to increade the size of the speed bumps in the park.
