City of Little Canada, Minnesota <br />Management Report, Page 37 <br />Summary <br />The following is a summary of the items to be recorded, investigated and /or resolved <br />during 1986. <br />• Continue to monitor legislative actions which can affect the financing of City <br />government. (Page 1) <br />• Approve and record the December 31, 1985 audited account balances on the City's <br />financial accounting system. (Pages 8 to 9) <br />• Continue to monitor the collection rates of property taxes and special <br />assessments. (Pages 9 to 12) <br />• Continue to maintain and monitor specially deferred special assessments. <br />(Page 12) <br />• Consider drawing down additional MSA monies for maintenance. (Pages 13 to 14) <br />• Review the benefits of establishing a fund for street and storm sewer replace- <br />ment. (Pages 14 to 15) <br />• Begin a policy of Capital Replacement /Acquisition budgeting. (Page 16) <br />• Continue efforts to define and maintain adequate General Fund reserve balances. <br />(Pages 17 to 21) <br />• Review the procedures used in budgeting revenue for the City's General Fund. <br />(Page 21) <br />• Continue efforts to monitor rules and regulations related to Revenue Sharing and <br />plan for substitute financing of expenditures which had been funded by that <br />program.
