CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION VACATING <br />STREET EASEMENT <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City Council of Little Canada has determined to vacate the following street easement: <br />The East thirty -three (E 33) feet of that part of the West one -half (W 1/2) of the Southwest <br />Quarter (SW ' /4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW %) of Section 4, Town 29, Range 22 <br />lying Northerly of Labore Road, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the <br />office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County. <br />WHEREAS, <br />A public hearing to consider the vacation of this street easement was held on March 27, 2013 <br />before the City Council at the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City at 7:30 <br />p.m. after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Clerk, as well as a <br />reasonable attempt to give personal mailed notice to all affected property owners on March 12, <br />2013, and all interested and affected persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the property <br />vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion <br />thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise attend thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to vacate such street easement; <br />WHEREAS, <br />Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this resolution; <br />
