Council Members:
This letter is in regard to a street block I an requesting
for Montreal Court's July 15 annual barbeque. I strongly feel
the block would help insure the safety of those attending the
event.
I'm sure you are all well aware of the traffic we have
throughout the complex. And, although we often remind our resi-
dents to keep their speed down and to use extra caution when
driving here, we don't always acheive the results we're after.
Last year a young child was nearly struck by a speeding
vehicle on LaBore Road during the gathering. We were extremely
fortunate not to have had to deal with what could have been an
extremely traumatic and fatal situation.
This year we are trying to take any precautionary measures
we deem necessary, in order to avoid any such problems.
I feel we've designed a block la at will cause very little
inconvenience. Please see the enclosed map to note where the
block would be suggested. It's obviously situated to allow
easy access into any of our building parking lots. The bus
which runs on LaBore has always passed through this area by
6:20 PM. Therefore, we would schedule the block from 6:30 PM
to 9:30 PM. This should allow our residents ample time to re-
turn safely to their homes.
I most certainly appreciate your time in considering this
request, and encourage your cooperation with us. Should you
have any questions or wish to oontact me, feel free to call
our office, (484 - 8434)` .

'.tm?N. u- ftJLa xt r ?)/4th 2 Sincerely, /
u6 -a tcL ,met any fC< cqi qv, Xlli tZ J C%(
CGIt• J G
at ACC, .1.' a• <Crzo(Y C C»cntu.tah/ / Sara L.
