Schaber <br />Minnesota Statutes of 1982, Chapter 112.42, Subdivision 3, Watershed Act <br />(pertinent excerpt enclosed) provides that the County Commissioners must <br />select watershed district managers from a list of nominees "submitted <br />jointly or severally" by the municipalities that are wholly or partially in <br />the watershed district to the County Board at least 60 days prior to the <br />expiration of the term of office of a manager. If no list is submitted, the <br />County Board will proceed to appoint a manager through it's "open <br />appointment" process. <br />This letter is to inform you that due to the resignation of Frances E. <br />Healy, a vacancy exists on the Ramsey - Washington Metro Watershed District <br />Board. The appointment to be made will fill out the remainder of <br />Mr. Healy's term ending on February 23, 1987. <br />If the six affected municipalities listed below wish to submit a list of <br />nominess for consideration by the County Board, your joint or separate <br />lists should be sent to me prior to August 15, 1986. Nominees must be <br />voting residents and must reside within the boundaries of the watershed <br />district.
