The amendment is identical in wording to the current ordinance <br />with the exception that the maximum size in residential districts is proposed to <br />increase to eight square feet: The existing Ordinance, Section 9O3.11O.B.1.d. <br />is reprinted below. <br />,v. 276 <br />Political Campaign Signs. Shall not exceed four (4) square feet in all Residential Districts, <br />or twelve (12) square feet in all other zoning districts. Every campaign sign must contain <br />the name and address of persons responsible for suck sign, and that person shall be responsible <br />for its removal. Signs erected before the primary election shall remain in place for no longer <br />than five (5) days after the general or special election for which they are intended. The City <br />shall have the right to remove and destroy unsightly signs or remove signs after the five (5) <br />day limit and assess a fee of one (Si .00) dollar per sign. <br />erg <br />This action is being taken to bring the City's requirements in line with neighbor- <br />ing communities.
