MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA September 11, 1986 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 11th day of September, 1986 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chairman Peter Costa called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. and the following members were present at roll call: MEMBERS PRESENT: Peter Costa, Chairman Bill Davison Gene DeLonais Art Nerkenhoff, arrived 8:05 P.M. Thomas Perlinger Peggy Schweizer MEMBERS ABSENT: Sharon Timmons ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner Kathleen Glanzer, Recording Secretary Minutes There being no corrections to the minutes of the August 14, 1986 Planning Commission meeting, Mr. Costa indicated that the minutes will stand approved as read. Final Plat Mr. Gordie Howe submitted for approval the final plat for Lakeview Lakeview Estates. Estates The City Planner pointed out that lot lines have been adjusted as recommended and a 50 foot easement is shown on the plat for potential access to the property in the hack. Mr. DeLonais recommended approval of the final plat for Lakeview Estates. Motion seconded by Mr. Costa. Motion carried 5 - 0. Connco The Planner explained that Connco Shoes is requesting a text Roof Sign amendment which would allow non - conforming roof signs to remain Text at the discretion of the City when other changes are made in Amendment signage on a property. The Planner explained that Connco would like authorization for a pylon sign on their property for a potential tenant, and in order to do this, they would have to bring all signage on the property into conformance with the ordinance. The City's ordinance currently prohibits roof signs. Page -1-
