BUILDING CODE <br />current, nor shall any alterations be made in the wiring of any building after in- <br />spection without first securing a permit therefor, except minor repair work such as <br />repairing flush and snap switches, replacing fuses, changing lamp sockets and <br />receiptacles, taping bare joints and repairing drop cords. Applications for permits <br />shall be filed with the Clerk of the municipality. <br />304.170. PLUMBING AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEMS. No alterations or additions in <br />the existing plumbing in any building shall be made nor shall any plumbing be placed <br />in any building nor shall any sewage disposal system be constructed without first <br />securing a permit therefor except minor repair work. Applications for permits shall <br />be filed with the Clerk or Building Inspector of the municipality. <br />304.180. GAS BURNERS. A permit will be required to begin the installation, <br />alteration or repair (except such minor repair not involving the removal of the burner <br />from its application) of any gas burner or gas burning equipment. <br />304.190. <br />system in any <br />any building <br />repair work. <br />Inspector for <br />HEATING SYSTEMS.. A special permit shall be required for the placing <br />of one house trailer on unimproved land for temporary use as a dwelling. One house <br />trailer may be parked on improved property temporarily by special permit. <br />304.220. EXPIRATION PERIOD.. Any special permit for the use of a trailer as a <br />. temporary dwelling place shall expire in ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. <br />304.230. REMODELING AND ALTERATIONS. Addition to Section 301(a) of Code.. The <br />following shall be added to Section 301(a) of the "Uniform Building Code ". <br />Permits <br />valuation of <br />the physical <br />shall not be required for remodeling, or alteration work having a <br />less than 150 provided that the proposed construction shall not alter <br />size nor the structural framework of the existing building. <br />304.240. INSTALLATION OF GAS APPLIANCES. Permits shall be required for the <br />installation of any device, appliance, machine, heating device or apparatus requiring <br />the use of manufactured gas, natural gas or liquid petroleum gas.
