Certain services ay be ordered by the OWNER and performed by the <br />ENGINEER or others under his direction. The OWNER shall pay the <br />ENGINEER for these services on the basis of an hourly rate. <br />B. EXTRA SERVICES include test borings, chemical tests, property <br />surveys, materials testing, resident supervision, staking out of <br />the work., in pert;nn. "as-built" drawings, assessment rolls, legal, <br />advertising, ,nst.:,rtion manuals and litigation. Extra services <br />shall be paid for d're;tly by the OWNER when done by others, or if <br />performed by tine LNGiNEER shall be at his hourly rate. <br />C :JPERVISORY SERVIC :.i shall include advice in the taking of bids and <br />!etti,g cf contrar <, rahuTation and analysis of bids, review of <br />shop drawings and the furnishing of additional details as nay be <br />required to carry out the intent of the working drawings. Included <br />a re supervisory inspection and review of the work during important <br />Y <br />phases of construction ro assist the OWNER in obtaining contractor <br />compliance with the contract documents; checking of the contractor's <br />invoices and a final review of the work upon contractor's declara- <br />tion of completion together with the furnishing of a list of any <br />found deficiencies and omissions and a final certification of <br />completion of the project. <br />-2- <br />026 <br />
