Flagship
Recreation's bid was $52,430 and Flanagan Sale's bid was $55,628.61 (base bid includes one
shade structure, and amounts indicated factor in one additional shade structure to base bid
prices). Both prices include the play structure, wood fiber surfacing that meets accessibility
requirements, and complete installation.
The Landscape Structure product is currently in place in most of the City's parks and the
Commission expressed satisfaction with the quality of this product. While both companies
provided designs that met the vision and direction of the Commission, it was felt the Landscape
Structures plan was more desirable and better addressed the input that was received at the
neighborhood meeting.
