MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 25, 2006 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of Che City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of <br />January, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CTI'Y COUNCIL: <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. John Keis <br />ABSENT: <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Ms. Barb Allan <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney <br />Cable TV Producer Mr. Brandon Rickert <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />MINUTES Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-I-I4 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE JANUARY I0, 2006 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AND THE <br />JANUARY II, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (3). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CONDITIONAL Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing relative to a Conditional <br />USE PERMIT- Use Permit to allow billiard/amusement hall as a commercial recreation <br />2900 RICE use in the PUD District as well as to allow alcohol sales at the billiard hall <br />STREET - and to allow Che billiard hall Co remain open until 4 a.m. for Coliseum <br />COLISEUM Billiards at 2900 Rice Street. It was noted that the Planning Commission <br />BILLIARDS recommended approval of the CUP subject to the following: <br />o Compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner; <br />0 4 a.m. closing time to be allowed, with closing time Co be <br />posted as 2 a.m.; <br />o Alcohol sales and consumption to be restricted to the back <br />room area and sales to cease at 1 a.m.; <br />
