MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA JANUARY 25, 2006 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of Che City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of January, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CTI'Y COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Mr. Bill Blesener Mr. Rick Montour Mr. John Keis ABSENT: Council Member Council Member Ms. Barb Allan Mr. Jim LaValle ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson City Attorney Mr. Thomas Sweeney Cable TV Producer Mr. Brandon Rickert City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer MINUTES Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2006-I-I4 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY I0, 2006 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AND THE JANUARY II, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (3). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. CONDITIONAL Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing relative to a Conditional USE PERMIT- Use Permit to allow billiard/amusement hall as a commercial recreation 2900 RICE use in the PUD District as well as to allow alcohol sales at the billiard hall STREET - and to allow Che billiard hall Co remain open until 4 a.m. for Coliseum COLISEUM Billiards at 2900 Rice Street. It was noted that the Planning Commission BILLIARDS recommended approval of the CUP subject to the following: o Compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner; 0 4 a.m. closing time to be allowed, with closing time Co be posted as 2 a.m.; o Alcohol sales and consumption to be restricted to the back room area and sales to cease at 1 a.m.;
