PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />515 LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINN. 55117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />August 3, 1978 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada was held on the 3rd day of August, 1978, at 8:00 <br />P.M. at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members were present: Peter Costa, Mike Fahey, Virginia <br />Fisher, Gene DeLonais, Frank Wineicki, Dr. Tom Keenan, Joe Vitale (9:00) <br />Dick Boss III (9:00). <br />The following members were absent: Ralph Nardini, Jack Radford, Earl Rossez <br />The minutes of the last meeting stand approved as read. <br />GERVAIS SHORES: <br />2nd Addition <br />CHARLES McCARTER: <br />McCarter Office <br />& Storage Bldg. <br />Realtor Robert Tansey of Tansey Co. appeared represent- <br />ing owner, J.C. Hammond. Bruce A. Foly presented pre- <br />liminary plat. Len Pearson, 51 E Co Rd B2, expressed <br />concern that runoff problems will be created. <br />Mike Fahey moved that the City Planner and Engineer <br />be referred to for their recommendations. <br />Seconded by Gene DeLonais <br />Motion Carried. <br />Charles McCarter Appeared. <br />Mr. Donald Saldo, 681 E Co. Rd B2, appeared and <br />expressed concern about drainage problems which <br />might result. <br />A motion was made to accept this concept and refer to <br />Planner for his recommendations. <br />Seconded by Virginia Fisher. <br />Motion Carried. <br />NEWTON NORBY: Mr. Norby is purchasing equipment and business of <br />Keystone Carwash Keystone Carwash (not building) from, John Vitale. <br />Addition He is requesting a variance to build a 24.x 26 <br />Simonizing and Car Waxing facility (no grease jobs or <br />repairs) from the requirement of a 20' rear lot <br />setback. Wants to build on the rear lot line. <br />Concept tabled and referred to planner for his <br />recommendations, including ownership of adjacent lands. <br />
