PLANNING COMMISSION <br />VILLAGE OF LITTLE CANADA <br />515 LI'I'IT.F CANADA ROAD <br />LI'1'1'LE CANADA, MINNESOTA 55117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />March 2, 1978 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little <br />Canada was held on the 2nd day of March, 1978 at 8:00 P.M. at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The following members were present: Peter Costa, Virginia Fisher, <br />Eugene DeLonais, Earl Rossez, Jack Radford, Joseph Vitale, Jr., <br />Michael Fahey, Richard Boss, Jr., Dr. Tom Keenan. <br />The following members were absent: Ralph Nardini and Dennis Ryan. <br />Minutes of the Planning Commission March 2, 1978., Chairman Cost called <br />the meeting to order at 8:00. <br />The minutes of the February meeting were considered and approved <br />by unanimous vote upon motion. <br />The following officers were duly elected to serve for a one year term <br />by white ballot: Peter Costa, Chairman; Earl Rossez, Vice - Chairman; <br />Michael Fahey, Secretary, <br />GAS PUMPS The Commission considered an application for the inst- <br />SPEEDY MARKET allation of three self service gasoline pumps submitted <br />by Mr. Schroeder on behalf of Speedy Market. The <br />Planners Report recommeneded denial of the application <br />because the number of parking spaces available after <br />the installation would be grossly below the minimum <br />required by the ordinance and because the increased <br />traffic circulation would be hazardous to traffic on <br />the surrounding streets. Upon a motion made by Mr. <br />DeLonais and seconded by Mrs. Fisher, it was recommended <br />that the Council deny the permit request by Speedy Market <br />due to inadequate parking and traffic flow <br />(9 -0 vote) <br />SCHRTER Carl Lien appeared on behalf of Richard Schrier's <br />CABINET application for a building permit to construct a cabinet <br />SHOP: shop addition to his shop on South Owasso Blvd. After <br />due discussion, Joe Vitale moved to recommend that the <br />Council approve Schrier's application for the permit <br />as presented. <br />Seconded by Mr. Fahey, <br />Motion passed (9 -0 Vote) <br />
