-- SECOND DRAFT -- RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES AND FEES FOR REZONING APPLICATIONS, CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS, VARIANCE, APPEALS, AND SUBDIVISIONS. WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance of the City of Little Canada vests in the Little Canada City Council the authority to establish procedures and fees for Rezoning Applications, Conditional Use Permits, Variance and Subdivision. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Little Canada as follows: PROCEDURE 1. An applicant contacts the City Clerk, discusses his requests and completes request form. 2. The applicant pays the base fee ($100.00) and makes a cash deposit, to be held in escrow, and charged against the time and materials necessary for processing the request. The following additional deposits will be charged: a. Rezoning $250.00 b. Conditional Use Permit -0- c. Variance - Single Family Residential Property -0- d. Variance - Other Residential and Commercial Industrial 100.00 e. Appeal -0- f. Subdivision Plat 200.00 g. Building Permit (Site Plan Review) -0- 3. The applicant's request is processed according to procedure established by governing ordinances and administrative policies of the City. 4. If difficulties are encountered in the review and evaluation of the request as a consequence of lack of information, unexpected site problems and questions, etc. and the escrow deposit is exceeded, all processing of the request will be halted until another estimate for completion is determined and deposit made. 5. Following the City Council's decision on the request, the City Clerk will notify the applicant of the outcome and refund any portion of the escrow deposit remaining or bill the applicant for any balance due. All fees and deferred assessments shall be paid prior to the issuing of building permits. FEB 23 1978 CITY OF LITTLE CANADA
