City Council <br />February 23, 1978 <br />Page 2 <br />In the near future, the City Council should consider whether <br />they want to construct sanitary sewers on Rice Street to serve <br />the area between I -694 and the 6N Railroad. It should be determined <br />if sewer mains should be constructed in Rice Street or if they <br />could be constructed behind these properties or in an easement in <br />front of these properties. If these sewers should be put in the <br />street, this should be done in 1978. An engineering report should <br />be prepared. <br />Also, the City Council should consider constructing watermains <br />on Rice Street between Demont and Little Canada Road. Again, an <br />engineering report should be prepared to determine if these mains <br />should be put in the street and if so, this should be done in 1978. <br />I recommend that the City Council pass a resolution approving <br />these preliminary plans. <br />Yours truly, <br />MILNER W.
