STATE OF t11 NNEnTA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />In the matter of the adoption of ) <br />temporary rules of the Department ) <br />of Transportation relating to Es- ) <br />tablishing a Program of State ) <br />Grants for the Development of Lo- ) <br />cal Bicycle Trails (Bikeways). <br />DEC 2 1 1971 <br />N OFHWAL <br />• LIT SLY <br />NOTICE OF REQUEST <br />FOR PUBLIC COMMENT <br />• <br />Laws of 1977, Ch. 421, § 5, Subd. 2 authorizes the <br />Commissioner of Transportation to establish by rule pursuant <br />to Minn. Stat. S 15.0412 (1977 Supplement) procedures for the <br />administration of grants to units of government as defined in <br />Section 2 of the Act for the betterment of public land and <br />improvements needed for local bicycle trails. <br />Minn. Stat. § 15.0412 (1977 Supplement) requires <br />that all interested persons or groups be allowed to submit for <br />consideration their written comments relating to the proposed <br />temporary rules set forth below. Comments should be addressed <br />to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Office of En- <br />vironmental Affairs, 820 Transportation Building, Saint Paul, <br />Minnesota 55155 (Attention: Ms. Terry Hoffman). <br />Matters submitted for consideration should be perti- <br />nent to the proposed rules. Any comments received by the De- <br />partment of Transportation will become a part of the record of <br />proceedings leading to the adopting of permanent rules. All <br />comments rust be received on or before January 30, 1978. <br />25 <br />
