PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF LITTLE CANADA 515 LITTLE CANADA RD. LIFELE CANADA, MINNESOTA 55117 Minutes of the regular meeting, Planning Commission - City of Little Canada February 2, 1978 The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada was held on the 2nd day of February, 1978 at 8:00 P.M. at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. The following members were present: Jack Radford, Peter Costa, Virginia Fisher, Margaret Mitchell, Dennis Ryan, Earl Rossez, Eugene DeLoanis and Dr. Keenan. The following members were absent: Ralph Nardini, Richard Boss III, Joe Vitale Jr.. Minutes of the January meeting were approved as read. VENETIAN INN REMODELING Pat Vitale and Mr. Vurslovick, arch. for Public Design Enterpirse. Complete remodeling and expansion of the Venetian Inn. Offices will be above the Inn. Will provide for wheel chairs. The house (present Office) will be moved from the rear. The house on the south side has been purchased and will be moved. Sprinkler system. The kitchen will not be remodeled, and they expect to be completed by July. The stage will be in three tiers. Window boxes on the building and plans for landscaping. The cost of re- modeling will be $450,000 to 500,000. Virginia Fisher made a motion to accept the modeling plans as presented providing they are in accordance with the codes of the City and sufficient parking for the size of the establishment. Will need plans for parking and landscaping for the Council. Seconded by Jack Radford: Carried. NORTH HEIGHTS Mr. Russell Schmidt for Mr. Hamm, North Heights Luthern LUTHERN CHURCH Church. The Church would like to convert the parking lot be- hind the church into a sanctuary. Would like to pur- chase the land across the street, about 4 acres for parking. If there are trees on the lot, as many as possible would be left. 01
