PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />515 LITTLE CANADA RD. <br />LIFELE CANADA, MINNESOTA 55117 <br />Minutes of the regular meeting, <br />Planning Commission - City of Little Canada <br />February 2, 1978 <br />The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Little Canada <br />was held on the 2nd day of February, 1978 at 8:00 P.M. at 515 Little Canada <br />Road in said City. <br />The following members were present: Jack Radford, Peter Costa, Virginia <br />Fisher, Margaret Mitchell, Dennis Ryan, Earl Rossez, Eugene DeLoanis and <br />Dr. Keenan. <br />The following members were absent: Ralph Nardini, Richard Boss III, Joe <br />Vitale Jr.. <br />Minutes of the January meeting were approved as read. <br />VENETIAN INN <br />REMODELING <br />Pat Vitale and Mr. Vurslovick, arch. for Public Design <br />Enterpirse. <br />Complete remodeling and expansion of the Venetian Inn. <br />Offices will be above the Inn. Will provide for wheel <br />chairs. <br />The house (present Office) will be moved from the rear. <br />The house on the south side has been purchased and will <br />be moved. <br />Sprinkler system. The kitchen will not be remodeled, <br />and they expect to be completed by July. <br />The stage will be in three tiers. Window boxes on the <br />building and plans for landscaping. The cost of re- <br />modeling will be $450,000 to 500,000. <br />Virginia Fisher made a motion to accept the modeling <br />plans as presented providing they are in accordance with <br />the codes of the City and sufficient parking for the <br />size of the establishment. Will need plans for parking <br />and landscaping for the Council. <br />Seconded by Jack Radford: <br />Carried. <br />NORTH HEIGHTS Mr. Russell Schmidt for Mr. Hamm, North Heights Luthern <br />LUTHERN CHURCH Church. <br />The Church would like to convert the parking lot be- <br />hind the church into a sanctuary. Would like to pur- <br />chase the land across the street, about 4 acres for <br />parking. If there are trees on the lot, as many as <br />possible would be left. <br />01 <br />
