December 22, 1977
Joseph Chlebeck, Clerk
City of Little Canada
515 Little Canada Road
Little Canada, Minnesota 55117
As president of Metropolitan Inspection Service, Inc., I am
hereby offering to permanently handle your electrical inspection through
this corporation for 80% of the permit fees.
I am 44 years old. After a four year apprenticeship, I received
the equivalent of a Class "A" Electrical License in Norway in 1956.
I came to Minnesota in 1960 and worked as an electrician until
1968 when I started as electrical inspector. I am now the regular
electrical inspector for the City of Roseville, the City of Arden Hills
and the Town of White Bear.
As an electrician in this area, I worked for 0. B. Thompson Electric
and for Bell Electric on residential wiring, and for Hoffman Electric,
Sterling Electric and Commonwealth Electric on commercial and industrial
installations.
I received my Minnesota Class "A" Journeyman Electrician's license
in 1963 and my Class "A" Master Electrician's license in 1970.
I am also certified as a building official by the State of Minnesota
and could therefore, if you so desire, help with some building inspections
if your regular building official is sick or on vacation_
During the past six years, I have served on the board of the
Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Electrical
Inspectors (I.A.E.I.). During 1975, I served as chairman.
Since I came to Minnesota, I have completed quite a few classes on
electrical code and other classes related to the electrical trade.
I have also completed some classes at North Hennepin Community
College for the "Building Inspection Technology" program and plan to
continue these classes and eventually get a degree in Building Inspection
Technology.
0 .0 tJ
0
