December 22, 1977 <br />Joseph Chlebeck, Clerk <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 <br />As president of Metropolitan Inspection Service, Inc., I am <br />hereby offering to permanently handle your electrical inspection through <br />this corporation for 80% of the permit fees. <br />I am 44 years old. After a four year apprenticeship, I received <br />the equivalent of a Class "A" Electrical License in Norway in 1956. <br />I came to Minnesota in 1960 and worked as an electrician until <br />1968 when I started as electrical inspector. I am now the regular <br />electrical inspector for the City of Roseville, the City of Arden Hills <br />and the Town of White Bear. <br />As an electrician in this area, I worked for 0. B. Thompson Electric <br />and for Bell Electric on residential wiring, and for Hoffman Electric, <br />Sterling Electric and Commonwealth Electric on commercial and industrial <br />installations. <br />I received my Minnesota Class "A" Journeyman Electrician's license <br />in 1963 and my Class "A" Master Electrician's license in 1970. <br />I am also certified as a building official by the State of Minnesota <br />and could therefore, if you so desire, help with some building inspections <br />if your regular building official is sick or on vacation_ <br />During the past six years, I have served on the board of the <br />Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Electrical <br />Inspectors (I.A.E.I.). During 1975, I served as chairman. <br />Since I came to Minnesota, I have completed quite a few classes on <br />electrical code and other classes related to the electrical trade. <br />I have also completed some classes at North Hennepin Community <br />College for the "Building Inspection Technology" program and plan to <br />continue these classes and eventually get a degree in Building Inspection <br />Technology. <br />0 .0 tJ <br />0 <br />
