ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Water Booster Station Bids Open: 11:00 AM February 8, 1978 Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City Council of Little Canada, 515 Little Canada Road, Minnesota, until 11:00 AM on February 8, 1978 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing and constructing a water booster station on County Road B at its intersection with the Soo Line Railroad in Little Canada, Minnesota. Little Canada, Minnesota Plans, specifications, proposal forms, and contract documents, as prepared by Milner W. Carley & Associates, 500 West Highway 96, St. Paul, MN 55112 may be seen at the office of the City Clerk and may be obtained at the office of the above -named Engineer upon a deposit of Thirty Five ($35.00) Dollars, which deposit will be returned to all Bona Fide Bidders upon safe return of said plans and specifications. A Bona Fide Bidder is one who actually signs and submits a bid to the City. All bids must be made on the proposal forms furnished by the City and shall be accompanied by a ceritifed check or bidders bond in an amount equal to five per cent (5 %) of the amount of the bid, which shall be forfeited in the event that the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract. Bids shall be directed to the City Clerk, securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper with a brief statement or summary as to the work for which the bids are made. The City Council reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three lowest bidders for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days after the date of the opening of bids. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to wiave informalities and irregularities therein and further reserves the right to award the contract in the best interest of the City. s/s Joseph G.
