Little Canada Road <br />St. Paul, Minnesota 55117 <br />I am considering building a one and one -half car detached garage <br />(probably 16 x 20) at my home at 2545 Morrison Avenue. It will sit <br />back of the house approximately 14 feet beyond the end of the drive- <br />way, with approximately 8 feet of the side adjacent to our home. <br />I am told that frost footings are required on a building that is within <br />ten feet of the house. I believe this building would be somewhat <br />closer than that limit. We do not wish to attach the garage to the <br />house. <br />I would find the extra cost prohibitive if I had to put in frost foot- <br />ings, particularly since we are aiming for a minimum cost garage. <br />Your favorable consideration in this matter would be most appreciated. <br />Sincerely; <br />P.S.
