506 1lthavenue north <br />mina Tals minneapolis, mn 55411 <br />Jj! <br />612 522-6636 <br />Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br />{( j City Clerk <br />515 Little Canada Road <br />signimmems Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 <br />June 25, 1975 <br />JUN 27 1975 <br />CITY OF <br />Dear Mr. Chlebeck; LITTLE CANADA <br />We are pleased to announce that effective July 1, 1975 our <br />firm will take over the contractual obligation for animal control <br />in your community from B & E Patrol, your present animal control <br />contractor. <br />We have purchased the assets of B & E, and it is their inten- <br />tion to cease business as animal control officers. However, <br />they will be available to assist us, should any problem arise <br />in the execution of our obligation under the contract with <br />your community. <br />B & E, Inc. contracts have a thirty day cancellation clause <br />which we are putting into effect as of July 1, 1975. During <br />July, we will contact you to answer any questions you may have <br />and offer your community a contract with our firm. This is <br />more of a formality than a change in rates. <br />Our facility is located at 506 llth Avenue North <br />and will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through <br />1 PM to 5 PM Sundays and Holidays. I am enclosing <br />will more thoroughly explain our facility and mode <br />, Minneapolis, <br />Saturday, and <br />a booklet that <br />of operation. <br />I am confident that you will find our facility and the service <br />we provide more than satisfactory, as do the 36 other communities <br />we presently serve. <br />We are now expanding our present facility to include the addi- <br />tion of a hospital area for injured animals, 52 kennels, a new <br />feline facility, veterinarian quarters, and a modern receptional <br />and general office area. The addition will be air- conditioned <br />and have the same high air exchange standards as does our present <br />facility. We expect this addition to be completed by August 1. <br />In the next few weeks I will be calling you for an appointment <br />to visit with you about our service. If you have any questions <br />in the meantime, please call me at 522 -6636.
