MANPO R PLANING
County of Ramsey
June 5, 1975
Mr. Joseph G. Chlebeck, Village Clerk
Village of Little Canada
400A Little Canada Road
St. Paul, Mn. 55117
Dear Mr. Chlebeck;
WgEaTilThr
JU 6 1275,
CfTY. OF
PULE CANADA
905 Parkway Drive
Maplewood, Minnesota 55106
Telephone: (612) 774 -6035
The community of Little Canada has been allocated $1,030 through the Governor's
Summer Youth Program. The funds are being made available as a result of the
passage of legislation during the recent state legislative session. The Minnes-
ota Department of Employment Services along with the CETA Prime Sponsor of Ram-
sey County are cooperating in the administration of the program.
Fifty percent of the youth ages 16 through 21 could be non - economically disad-
vantaged under this program. This differs from the Federal CETA program being
administered by Ramsey County which requires 100% economically disadvantaged.
The funding level stated above would require a 20% match by your municipality.
If you are interested in participating in the program, you must notify our
office by June 11, 1975. Funds not utilized by your municipality would then
revert to the general County program and would be added to the existing summer
program offered through Ramsey County.
If you have any questions regarding the funding arrangements of this program,
please sive me a call.
Sincerely, I
k gw Asa
Michael K.
