NOTES
Little Canada
Purpose of Meeting
Request site and building plan approval for a 36, 000 square foot office/
warehouse building to be located on Spruce Street.
Location of Site
The property is located on the northeast side of the Burlington Northern
Railroad where it intersects with the R.O. W. for Spruce Street, It is
Lot 4 of Block 1, Rauenhorst 1st Addition. The area of the lot is 3.Z
acres. This lot at one time was a part of the Acryltech property.
However, it was subdivided from Lot 3 when McKesson 8.- Robbins
purchased and moved into the existing Acryltech building.
Use of New Building
Reynolds Aluminum will use 7, 200 square feet of the new building for a
recycling center for aluminum materials brought into the center for
recycling.
Equipment used to pulverize and shred the recycled aluminum will all be
enclosed within the building. The center will be visited once or twice a
week by a railway car to carry away the materials.
The center will employ 2 -3 fulltime employees and it's my understanding
that hours of operation will not require it to operate during the evening.
