RAMSEY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT <br />SHERIFF <br />Kermit Hedman <br />PERMIT TO CONDUCT WATER EXHIBITIONS OR PLACEMENT OF STRUCTURES IN LAKES <br />The Ramsey County Sheriff Policy requires that issuance of permits for the place- <br />ment of water ski slalom courses, water ski jumps, and other specialized events, <br />or placement of structures for various water recreational purposes on the lake, <br />must be first approved by the Council of the City or Village in which the lake <br />or waterway is located, thus giving the public an opportunity to express their <br />views regarding the issuance of a permit, and if the request is approved by the <br />Municipal Council that thereafter, you: submit the request to the Sheriff's De- <br />partment. The issuance of a permit will be governed by the approval of the <br />Municipal Council and the County Administrator.
