-2- <br />4. In addition to the regular hours of patrolling referred <br />to, M.A.P.S.I. agrees to maintain one (1) vehicle for standby <br />service to attend cases outside regular patrol hours at the <br />specific request of the City's Police Department. <br />5. M.A.P.S.I. represents and agrees that all animals impounded <br />shall be kept at M.A.P.S.I. housed at 506 llth Avenue North, Minnea- <br />polis, Minnesota and M.A.P.S.I. agrees and warrants that all ani- <br />mals impounded shall be kept in a comfortable and humane manner <br />for a period required by City Ordinance. M.A.P.S.I. agrees that <br />the pound facilities shall be open and available to reclaim <br />animals from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and <br />from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and Holidays. <br />6. At the time that any animal impounded under this contract <br />is reclaimed, M.A.P.S.I. or its agent shall collect the impounding <br />fee, the license fee and boarding charges as provided by City <br />Ordinance. M.A.P.S.I. shall furnish monthly reports to the City <br />as required as to the service or services rendered in connection <br />with each animal impounded. All impounding fees, license fees, <br />and any other penalty fees collected by M.A.P.S.I. or its agent <br />shall be remitted monthly to the City. <br />7. In the event an animal is impounded and boarded by order <br />of the City Health Office or placed under quarantine by ruling of <br />the State Board of Health, said animal shall be boarded as required <br />by said order of ruling. At the end of such period, the City <br />releases all of its interest, right and control over said animals <br />which may then be disposed of at the discretion of M.A.P.S.I. <br />In the event that any dogs, cats, or other impounded animals are <br />unclaimed after five (5) days, they shall become the property of <br />011 <br />
