Chlebeck, Clerk <br />City of Little Canada <br />515 East Little Canada Road <br />Little Canada, Minnesota 55117 <br />Dear Mr. Chlebeck: <br />On April 19, 1976, the Board of Ramsey County Conmiissioners adopted the <br />attached resolution relative to a Ramsey County Regional Recreation Bikeway <br />System:. Copies of the staff report describing the proposed regional bikeway <br />system are also enclosed for distribution to the City Council, staff members <br />and advisory commissions. <br />In keeping with an established Board policy to coordinate all County <br />recreation planning with the municipalities, the Open Space Planning Office <br />has been directed by the Board to present the bikeway system plan and <br />companion report to each municipality for local concurrence. <br />Would you please take the necessary steps to have the Bikeway System <br />Plan reviewed by the City Council and subsequently scheduled for present- <br />ation and approval at a City Council meeting prior tc May 24, 1976. <br />Our office will be submitting a grant -in -aid application for bikeway <br />development to the Federal Government on June 1, 1976, therefore, we are <br />requesting the City's immediate consideration of the proposed bikeway <br />system. <br />Ken Simons of the Open Space Planning Office will be contacting you to <br />schedule a date for presentation to the Council and the proper advisory <br />commis ion. <br />BLE:ama <br />Enc. <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />520 COMMERCE BUILDING <br />ST. ?AUL, MINNESOTA 551101 <br />TELEPHONE 298-5566 <br />Sincerely, <br />Bernard L.
