DON GAGNE <br />Motion was made by Virginia Fisher that we <br />recommend to the Council to okay the addition <br />to the Lumber Co. <br />Seconded by Earl Rossez <br />Carried <br />The Planning Commission is in favor of the <br />special use permit. The spur track will be <br />removed. Landscaping required. <br />A building is proposed by the present one. This <br />will be a conventional building, built like a <br />garage, 40 x 120 and will be used for storage. <br />Service road is on the old railroad bed. Power <br />line goes through so the land is about 50 ft. <br />wide and 400 ft. long. Has a holding tank for <br />sewer. The land will be all fenced in. <br />It will be a metal building on a slab. The <br />cost of the building will be $28,000 without <br />interior finished. <br />Jack Radford made a motion to accept the plan <br />as presented. <br />Seconded by Gene Delonais <br />Carried <br />Owns 500 feet on Country Drive and would like to <br />have the land zoned commercial. On the planned <br />use map it is zoned general business. <br />Southern slopes would like to develop home sites. <br />Mr. Gagne wants to save the tree line. <br />Discussion was held, pro and con, on the rezoning <br />and saving the tree line. <br />Motion was made by Dennis Ryan to table the issue <br />for legal advisement. <br />Seconded by Virginia Fisher <br />Carried <br />Jack Radford made a motion the question be put <br />to the City Attorney to see if there is any way <br />to save the tree line on the western edge of <br />Don Gagne's property since it would serve as a <br />buffer between the residential and commercial <br />zoning areas. <br />10 <br />
