The total user charge per industry consists of the usual total base charge
plus the strength charge. The total base charge is currently that paid to
the local government in which the industry is located.
In order to determine if the proposed charges for treatment works operation
and maintenance costs to those industries having high strength wastes are
essentially the same as the proportion of costs based on their contribution
of load, the following currently available data are used:
A) - % of Revenues based on Proposed Charge System
High Strength Volume Discharge = 8,048 MG /yr.
Industry Charges:
a) Volume (0 & M) = 8,048 x $158:22 $170.48 = $432733355 $1,372,023
b) Strength = 17;388 -9,314 x $140.55 = $234431883 $1,309,083
Total = $3y7173238 $2,681,106
System Charges:
Strength Revenues = $ 234433883 $1,309,083
92,528 x $358722 $770.48 = $1436393789 $15,774,173
Total = 51.73983,663 $17,083,256
Industry Charge Revenue Percentage $3,747,2238 $2 681,106 x 1p0 i7;083;663 1 is , 6 15.66%
?5.69$
B) - % Of Revenues Based on High Strength Loads
a) Annual Projections:
System Flow - 92,528 MG
System S.S.
