<br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
<br />That we, Joey' s Lounge as Principal,
<br />and the WESTERN SURETY COMPANY, a Corporation duly licensed to do business in the State of
<br />Minnesota, as Surety, are held and firmly bound unto the City of Little Canada
<br />(City— Town — Village)
<br />Minnesota, in the sum of Three Thousand and no /100 ($ 3 ,000.00 ) DOLLARS,
<br />to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and adminis-
<br />trators firmly by these presents.
<br />WHEREAS, the above named Principal proposes to carry on the business of an On Sale retail dealer
<br />of intoxicating liquor in the City of Little Canada , Minnesota.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the said Principal and the WESTERN SURETY COMPANY do hereby agree
<br />to and with the said Ci ty of Little Canada , Minnesota, and all persons suf-
<br />fering damages by reason of the breach of the conditions of this bond, that the said Principal' shall for
<br />a period beginning at twelve o'clock noon on the 19th day of January , 1916,
<br />and ending at twelve o'clock noon on the 19th day of January , 1977 •
<br />a. Obey the law relating to such licensed business.
<br />b. Pay to the municipality when due, all taxes, license fees, penalties and other charges provided
<br />by law.
<br />c.. That in the event of any violation of the provisions of any law relating to the retail "On Sale" of
<br />intoxicating-liquor this bond shall be forfeited to the municipality in which such license was issued.
<br />d. Pay to the extent of the principal amount of this bond, any damages for death or injury caused
<br />by or resulting from the violation of any provisions of law relating hereto, and in such case, recovery
<br />- under this subdivision "d" may be had from the Surety on this bond. The amount specified in this bond
<br />is declared to be a penalty and the amount recoverable is to be measured by the actual damages, pro-
<br />vided, however, that in no case shall the Surety hereunder be liable for any amount in excess of the
<br />penal amount of this bond.
<br />e. The total amount of the liability of the Surety under this bond shall in no event exceed the
<br />penal amount of this bond, whether for one or more defaults and whether to one or more persons.
