{1F{kING 6- -ASSO(IflTtS <br />Mt NM <br />Memo <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br />FROM: Lee Elfering, City Engineer <br />DATE: April 19, 2013 <br />RE: 2013 Street & Utility Improvement Project <br />As directed by the City Council at their March 20th meeting, we are currently obtaining <br />bids for the above referenced project. The Improvement Project consists of the <br />reconstruction of Spruce Street, from Country Drive to the railroad tracks, and the <br />construction of the Pinetree Pond Development including grading, street, sanitary sewer, <br />storm sewer, and watermain improvements. The final plat for the Pinetree Pond <br />Development was recommended for approval by the Planning Commission and the final <br />plat will be before the City Council at this meeting. The plans were prepared based on <br />the final plat; therefore if the City Council approves the final plat the plans will represent <br />the appropriate improvements. <br />Bids are to be received by 10:00 a.m., April 24, 2013 and we will provide an update to <br />the council agenda packet for that nights meeting. The addition to the agenda will <br />provide a summary of the bids received and general thoughts as to the competitiveness <br />of the bids. If the bids are within the expected range we will likely have a <br />recommendation for award.
